[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My contribution to this Friday Theme 'Twisted'.
I found this root maybe five years ago and kept it as a decorative element in the living room.
technicalities:
- cropped
- desaturated
- added a lot of contrast
- applied sharpness
- deepened the blacks (via 'selective colours')
- applied lighting effects.
- Added frame and title

great idea for the theme! good choice to have desaturated it. Nice lighting, maybe just slightly too strong, it looses some details on the top. but it defnitely makes an attractive twisted picture!
