Picture taken at an event I visited yesterday :" de Quaeye Werelt" (the angry world). It was a re-enacting of a (possible) battle in the 15th century based on historical facts. All the actors and their attributes were equally authentic, based on documented findings. About 500 people from different countries played a role.
Apart from the "battle" there was a campground where the participants lived in tents, ate and drank in the medieval way and sold their craftswork, including furniture, clothing, shoes and armory.
The depicted scene was one of the latter. Shiny gloves in different materials and styles.
Straightened, cropped, framed. |

Hi Walter,
So you went shopping for your new wardrobe? Which gloves did you choose?
Good to see the various events are keeping you entertained. Between the clouds and festivals, you always have something to do. Here, in NC, it’s been really hot- so we just stay inside.
Regards,
Randy
