[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
When walking in a park I saw this comming.
Sorry, no time for " maybe a better compo "

The pilot ain't no friend of mine, so he wouldn't
do it again :-)

Tech :

Used Capture NX (°) to lighten up some parts.
Then a very big crop to have some composition ...
Finally resize and unsharp mask for TL

For Nikon users : if you don't know it, take a peek at it. For now I only use it as a RAW converter and
for the quick and dirty work.
This photo was quick ... ( ok, let it come )
Sometimes it's more practical than using PS layers.
Another thing I must learn.

Goed gezien man! Echt een hele speciale plaat. Heb je daar een paar dagen gestaan tot dat vliegtuig voorbij kwam? :-)
Kwaliteit is ook niet verkeerd! Misschien een tikkie minder contrast, in de trail zit geen detail meer door OE. Niettemin een mooie en ook leuke inzending!

't Is niet waar, heeft ie toch nog eens een foto op tl gezet ☺^☺. Zonder verwittiging, dan nog... een mens zou er iets van aan z'n tikker krijgen!
Maar alle gekheid op een stokje, 't is wel een leuke. Jammer dat er van het vliegtuig niet veel te zien is, het lijkt wel een komeet. Meer inzoomen voor meer detail (en minder omgeving), en net iets langer wachten zodat het vliegtuig door het oog is gevlogen... om dan in PP die condensatiestreep over het linkergedeelte van het oog te clonen... Vliegt ie pas écht door het oog van de naald!
Maar dit even terzijde. We hebben het altijd over compo's en zo, nietwaar... wel, de regel KIS stelt: alleen vliegtuig, trail en oog. De rest is ballast. Zoals gezegd, meer inzoomen dus.
Wat evenwel niet wegneemt dat ik dit ook een leuke crop vind hé Jan. Maar het gebrek aan detail in het vliegtuig vind ik een beetje jammer.

Hoe heb je het weer gezien Jan - jij hebt belist een oog voor speciale momenten.

Een bijzonder werkje, waarin ik de hoogte van de bomen kan voelen...

Interesting capture here Jan, in my opinion and feel free to disagree but obviously even unsharp mask will not get this cropped version as neat as the original which i viewed for reference of course though it is more evident now in this view what the intent you were after in the first place . In the original with your notes ( btw i am still laughing it out ---" the pilot ain't no friend of mine so he wouldn't do it again" , this line truly is funny ...lololol) what was i saying , yep you can still make out the white traces of the passing jet reaching the center of that ' needle hole ' formed by the split tree trunk , in other words your cropping has brought the jet forward , thus made it larger in the process to the detriment of clarity of the image but hey it does not mean it isn't a good photo , in fact the idea alone was well worth the effort ( you had to hurry too , considering that as well ) )but at iso 400 you cannot allow much cropping , just my opinion here Jan what do you think ?
