[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We were in Belgium, this August 2008, for a family feast.
The weather was lovely, everybody was happy, the food and drink yummy!
It had been decided on 'informal' dress code, however, I suddenly had this vision for a family portrait 'OLD STYLE', serious, as used to be!
Well it's not every day that we are all together, so they all thought it was a great idea.
Looked for a 'substitute' studio, set up the camera and tripod, seated everybody...
Now to keep serious? LOL, not easy... one WAS smiling...
So quite a few were taken using the self timer.
Once we felt we had THE ONE, we went for the fun ones, everybody ran to see the results on the back. More laughter!
It's moments like these that make life sweet.

HI Magda,

I needed a smile today, and you certainly provided more than one for me! This family portrait is so lively and full of fun. It's nice to know that my family isn't the only one that has these moments. (we all closed our eyes in one of ours). I'm sure the conversations are just as fun. Nice makeshift studio you have created. The background is simple with a touch of color and texture.

Hello Magda! Quite an unusual portrait! Il faut vraiment avoir le sens de l'humour et le don de rire de soi pour produire un tel portrait.Très amusant,original et "dans le vent"! Beau portrait de famille!

This is timed to perfection. I like your use of the outdoor studio here. Superb idea.

Fabulous family portrait. I like your gallery Magda, although you said all your uploaded pictures here in TL are just for fun, you see to it that all technical aspects of photography are in proper place. You are one of those people here wants this site to be in perfect harmony. We are one in that goal, as everybody knew that I'm one of those victims of bullying.
