Erik,
Great composition...a little sad...like the decisive moment of dead....but a wonderful work. Congratulation!

Salut Erik.
Urs

Hi Erik,

This is a very nice but simple composition the rose in the fg adds to this beautifully shot but sad scene. The low pov is excellent good colours and sharp details the framing is very good.

Regards
Jon

Even with a wide-angle lens you had to get down on your knees for this one. I like a photographer who lowers his perspective to make the shot.

The only thing I have to harp on is the cropped tombstone in the foreground. Aside from that this is a wonderful composition.

TFS,
MP

How do you do? Erik,

It is an articulated composition of the picture with a deep artistic sense. I think the originative composition and the unconventional placement of the object are very good, the low point of view and the wonderful depth is also good. I really love every piece of your well composed picture.

Many thank you for the sharing and greeting,
Eungbong

Lolo

Good picture, with an excellent composition and perspective, with the flower of foreground and bottom-up approach, my congratulations.

ciao Erik..
mi compliments for this capture.. detail of the rose is a touch of perfection..
great composion.. great atmosfere! thanks
ciao Marco

I was about to leap into a "what to do differently" and realised that I'd be overlooking the important thing - which is, I think this is a great shot. Subject, light, POV, DOF, post treatment - it is great work and deserves to be recognised as such.

Having said that, I would change a couple of things. One is the frame, I think it's too complex for the subject. The other is the headstone that "disappears" from the top of the frame. I would have either tried to include its cross within the frame, or clone out the base of the cross so that it ended just below the edge of the shot.

I like.

Rew

Hi Erik,
I like the low POV of this shot, really suits it. I also spotted the tombstone to the left disappearing out of the frame so I like what Rew has done with his workshop. The sky adds a nice effect with it's interesting cloud coverage. I think the tarnished rose and small patch of grass in the FG are key features of this scene. Everything looks sharp and well exposed. A fine job.

TFS,
Scott.

Potverdriedubbeltjes.
Mooi werk, nothing less.

Prachtige compo !.

Geen " but " ? Neen maar ...
Misschien B/W ?

Groetjes
Jan
