...but with a very large tongue ;P

Maybe Dingo got confused here; we sometimes say he's got to "lick" before handing him some cheese or anything. Here he licked spontaneously, probably hoping I'd put down the camera and throw his ball away ;o).

Or maybe he was just thinking of the treat he'd get when we got home again...

Tech talk

The evening sun cast some deep shadows so I used fill flash to brighten them up.

Just a tiny bit of croppity-crop.

Sharpened using USM 85 %, 1, 1.

Downsized for TL in 2 steps.

Enhanced the saturation a bit.

Added Frank's framing.

Funny picture, good timing! The use of the fill flash certainly enhances the ambient light. Good composition as well. Great shot!

Hihi, looks like he's playing "who can touch his nose with his tongue?" - and apparently he can!

Very nice picture, Frank, as usual. The details in his fur are very nice. My boyfriend and I also have a pet since 1,5 month ago, I think I'll upload some pictures of our crazy parakeet Jip soon! :-)

Nicely timed shot Frank with great use of fill-in flash. A marvellous portrait of Dingo. TFS

We had not seen a picture of Dingo in a while so good to see him again and what a pose it is!! Very nice crisp colours with just enough blur in the background to make us focus on Dingo. Well done!

Well, I guess that's one way to wife your nose Dingo! Perfect timing Frank. I know how hard it is to capture the tongue in motion like that because Pamela and I have I've tried with Tinka. Dingo's tongue is so long, but I guess it has to be if there isn't a Kleenex tissue handy.
Lovely sharp shot. His stance is cute and his face looks alert and full of life. Hope he got his treat... he deserved it for this photo session.
Ran out of points early today. I'll come back tomorrow Frank.

well frank, i like this shot.composition is very good and i like the bright green background.it contrasts well with dingo.maybe he had some cheese on his nose :) his pose is kinda 'wide',that makes him look very playfull.well done!

Hi Frank,
This is the best I've seen so far in the ongoing Dingo Collection :))
It made all of us here crack up laughing!!
Very well captured. The colour and use of the fill flash is excellent!
Keep them coming!!!
Thanks :))

Cool photo Frank!! You really clicked at the right time!!
It's nice to see that Dingo is in good shape :-))

Ana

Tu as du probablement prendre dingo en rafales pour avoir cette belle gymnastique de langue canine :)))
C'est un moment décisif dans une photo de bonne qualité;
Séquence détente.
Bien amicalement

A funny posture!
Or perhaps he was dreaming that night, his nose was an ice-cream cornet. He just take a lick to be shure it's not for real :o)

Hi Frank

Excellent use of a shallow dof & with good sharpness & color. The tongue over the nose, is an unusual angle. Well done!

Very funny shot, Dingo is a great model! Good PP work and composition!

There was no way you could not post this "action" shot of our Dingo! You have the best model on Treklens and he has four legs and loves cheese...
what a wondeful shot, Frank, thank you for sharing this with us.....:O)

Good old Dingo, making dad happy he had another good photo to post on TL. You can see what he thinks of you Frank! I love his pose, sitting there with his legs apart, and his tongue pointing at you. Good dog Dingo!

What a great and funny shot of Dingo. When I saw the thumbnail I wondered what he had covering his nose. When I opened it up I saw his great long tongue. You were sharp to get such a good shot - I'm sure his tongue was only there for a split second. He looks so goofy in that pose.

:-))))

you know i would love this one Frank! awww what a cutie... he looks so wonderfully silly here :-)) but such a professional model knowing just when to put that lovely tongue out! and his whole posture is just adorable.. always so nice to see Dingo and this was one of the first pics i saw when i was able to start looking at TL again and it made me smile so much! :-)) and it's really beautifully taken with excellent detail and colour..

thank you Frank & Dingo for sharing this great scene and cheering me up so much!

hugs and kisses to you both,
Ayda
