Hello Torr,

It seems that monday morning are sad for you. This picture has a very dramatic mood and th use of B&W emphasize it. Or is it the sunrise that is ending the night a new new week will start, so instead of negative it should be positive? In any case great shot. TFS.

J'aime beaucoup l'ambiance que dégage cette image.
La composition est aussi bien conçue.
Personnellement j'aurais choisi un encadrement noir un peu moins large mais c'est un point de vue personnel.

Indeed, I think you should have entered the contest. This is a very moody picture perfectly well composed. B&W wasn't option but mandatory for this type picture, good choice. Maybe the picture needs a bit of sharpening.

Great movement, I like the way the ship is "disappearing" beyonnd the frame... - this and the diagonal compo make the photo so dynamic...
The other thing I notice is this mood... not a nice one... It's a world where you see man-made things - factory chimneys, a boat, but not man himself - the river is man-made but not natural, so all in all it seems a world hostile to nature and the natural ways of human beings...
Gosh - tomorrow is Monday morning! :o

So dark and great scene. I really like the lines on the ship shineing in the dark and makeing this lighteing repetition. We don't need to speak about this composition becouse it is perfect. Rules:-)

This capture has a lot of power. B&W works very well. The darkness of the photo, silhouette of the skyline and power of the barge slipping through the water. Nice job.
