Did YOU know that...

...Nessebar is one of the oldest towns in Europe.It is the successor of the ancient Tracian settelment Messambria,founded in the 2000(second millenium) B.C.

...in Nessebar the coins were introduced in the 5th century B.C.Then the name of the town is Messemvria.It is a Greek colony and an important harbour with the status of a state-town.

...after the liberation from the Othoman domination Nessebar is a fishing settlement.

...the construction of the first chirches began in 300B.C.There is an evidence that at the time there were over 40 churches and monasteries.These days Nessebar is an arcitectural reserve and its sites are included in the UNESCO's list of world's cultural heritage.

This is an old windmill-one of the ancient arcitectural buildings.It is kind of a symbolic for the old town of Nessebar.

Zdravei Dani, sled zavrashtaneto mi ot Bulgaria, priatno mi e da te pozdravia otnovo..otkradnal si mi ideata s tazi tvoia snimka, no mislia che si nepovtorim, az dori niama da se opitam da obrabotia snimkite si ot Nesebar, zashtoto vizhdam che si nedostijim. ;)
