Coming down a commercial street in the new part of town in Sozopol on the Black Sea i came across these old men occupying all the seats in front of a rather new building , what a great weather we all had that day , while some enjoyed the nearby beach or shopping around these old timers were resting as comfortable as they could be in the shade simply watching the world go by .... as i walked past them i thought i had to get them on lens so i continued to the nearest intersection ,crossed the street and walked back up to this vantage point , composed the best i could for cars and pedestrians were in the way all the time , i managed to get this one whose PP work involves quite a bit of this and that : in the cropping process i made it more panoramic , i made sure all of them were in the shot, i find the format suitable to the scene i think , some objects were also removed ( a huge black pipe attached to the wall running all the way up seemed to stick right out of the fourth from the right man's head , a street lamp with huge glass bulbs on the left appeared without its post in front of the top window on the far left ) , verticals correction ,toned down some OE hot spots , not perfect i reckon, contrast added , sharpened and framed,
iso 80 , f/3.5 , 1/200 ...

Hi!

Congratuation tjis is a good picture about daily life.

Regards: Photofero

Hi Carol, you have a real knack for seeing the interesting street/daily life scenes that I love, and capturing them very well. Great observation on your part here, and great that you doubled back on the other side of the street to get this shot.
You did a good job on the cloning too .. I would never have known if you hadn't mentioned it. Still a little OE on the left man's sweater and hair, but hey ... he's seated right in the sun .. hard to avoid that.
Great job Carol .. I like this!

This is a fun one. I enjoy seeing the different expressions and body language. I wonder if they were able to solve all the worlds problems :) Nice lighting and good detail. TFS

Hi Carol,

I want to be an "old timer" too!! This is terrific. Sitting around talking with your friends, solving all the problems of the world. It's usual to see a small grouping of 3 or 4, but never have I seen so many lined up in a row. I think it is just wonderful with all of their different styles of dress, expressions, etc... The backdrop adds a lot of interest and height with the windows. I like this one a lot. Nice job of removing unwanted objects in post processing.:) Lisa
