The exposure of that shot is 843 sec, which is about 14 min. The picture is taken at midnight around village Orehowo, close to city of Smolyan. Close to it there is a big ski resort.
This is the first time when I tried to make a shot like this!

Wow! I think you did an excellent job with this, Plamen!
I've never tried anything like this but it's certainly inspiring to do it. I'm amazed at the wide aperture you used, and how little the sky has been lit - it must have been a very, very clear and dark sky!

You did very well! Wise choice of course to keep the Polar Star in your composition.
Could be use in a classroom to explain the Earth rotation !
