| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This is the monument of former communist ex-head of the state Todor Zhivkov in his native town Pravets. Usually monuments are shot in the face, but in theory we're on turned back terms with communist socialism... In theory, but in practice the ex-communist party - now socialist party - is "leading" us to joining the EU in just few months... With all its organisation and economic mafiotic structures! Today they are celebrating their 62nd aniversary from taking power in 1944! This photo was taken last month. Most probably today there are festivities in this place led by communist hardliners. |

Hello Anton,
Maybe a ghost from the past but obviously still very present!
Judged by the statue this guy is standing tall whatever... but don't all statues?
I like the inclusion of humans!

Ja tez znam te pomniki z dziejow komunizmu. Bardzo ladnie ze pokazujesz takie zdjecia. Dzisiejsza mlodzierz nie zna tych czasow a takie zdjecie to dla nich historia. Wspaniale moj przyjacielu.
