Haha, good 'out'! and it is a sea of flowers after all :)
Great one .. really nice use of shallow DOF. Nice vivid colors. That one blurry leaf, bottom right, is a little bit distracting ... but hey, that's justs being picky now! This is really nice.

Really like this. The strong colours, the super sharpness of the near sunflowers and the effect of the shallow field of focus creates a very striking image.

Hi David,

Actually, it's a "cityscape" of Bulgaria with sharp flowers that "happen" to be in the foreground! haha I can't imagine this field. sunflowers are such a huge flower! Really amazing to see such a vast amount. I like the effect of the focus you have used in the shot.

No post processing? ...even contrast? Cool. :) Lisa

A wonderful field of sunflowers with a tremedous DOF.
I like the blurred image of the city...it tells a story...nature against concrete!!
I admire the spot sharp focusing on two sunflowers.
That's a really managed option!

There are some shots which always grab the attention and sunflowers are one of those! It just jumps off the monitor!

Your use of dof is text book stuff!

Seriously though, nice one. Blurred city in background works nicely against the massive expanse of yellow.

A very lovely 'landscape' :) Gee I hardly notice the 'flowers' at all :) !!! I really like the dof and hope to practice this type of shots. Beautiful colors and excellent detail on the flower in the fg. Nice work! TFS

I really like this! These DOF shots are so nice. Nice thirds, saturation is real nice on this! You did a great job. The thing with flowers is get closer...closer!

Attractive simplicity, such as the yellow stand out
