[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
High in the Rodope Mountains is this village called Galabovo - snuggled into the hillside 3000' above sea level. What views there are!!! I'd imagine winter is a lot different from this!

RAW, slight increase of saturation and resized!

Taken on my prime 85mm lens..

Hi David
A different work in this genre as most of us knew you by your superb nocturnals.
This is a well-composed capture of green jungles and a beautiful village in the slope of a hill. Nice colors and lighting

Hello David.
Nice composed picture of this high hillside with the red roofs of the houses an eye cather.
The haze makes it good natural, but imo the sharpnes is overdone, which is unnatural.
Specially with small items like leaves and sand, easy to oversharp it.

Wow, stunning landscape all right!!! Yeah, I imagine the winters would look a little different .. a little familiar to me probably!
Great comp with the different 'triangles' of color .. love the way the color gets more subdued in the haze as you get further away. Great lush color in the foreground 'triangle' with the trees and red rooftops.

You have captured some nice detail here with all the foliage David. What a view! I like the zig zag effect on this! I'll bet this would be a great place to take a shot, early morning with fog...or late evening with the sun and it's warm colors! Nice work here!

This looks like a peaceful setting for the people in this village. I hope they appreciate their view!! The orange rooftops are nice against all of the green. I like all of the diagonal lines in the photo. Interesting scene. You know me.... I would have probably added just a touch of contrast! :) Lisa

Brilliant photo, nature at it's finest. Can almost smell the freshness from here :). Very nicely captured natural colours, the details in the distance are sharp too. What a great view.
