Jean,
Good composition. If you want to enhance the roof tiles, you should select the sky, invert selection, and than work brightness and contrast as much as you want, without blowing the sky.

Excellent picture of the texture and archetecture. Good B&W work.
Very nice perspective !!! As I like the red tones, I propose an other version in workshop (with more light and saturation on the dark tree in front of the picture). Very nice idea !!! Thanks for sharing

Bon jour Jean,
It's time to go back to bed, or I might attempt a workshop for contrast. :O) zzzzzzz! However, I will say that I especially like the B&W version because of the wonderful shapes in the tiles, which I don't think are captured in the color photo.

Ta version noir et blanc est vraiment très bien, mais j'ai décidé de relever quand même le défi. Ce fut pas simple, j'ai fait tout un tas de mmanips pour un résultat qui n'apporte finalement pas grand chose par rapport a ta version. Je te laisse juge.

I think your b&w is pretty good but lost some details in the tree, window-blinds on the right side by getting too dark there.
I posted a workshop with my detailed workflow.
I'm curious ... :)

What a clever idea to post a photo for the sole purpose of seeing how differently we all manipulate images Jean!
I'm not very advanced with PP and only did what I usually do, but it is certainly interesting to see other people's ideas.
