The point of view gives the impression it is the floor and not the wall ...
The colour is blood red and the old painting has a rotten aspect.

Poser un regard nouveau sur un objet si ancien et en faire ressortir le coté tout à fait "moderne"...voilà ce que vous avez livré, à mon avis...

Voilà un autre beau contraste entre le noir du fer, le rouge de la peinture et le brun du mur. La vieillesse de la peinture est bien rendue par les écailles.
