ROVINJ - Istria - Croatia

Rovinj, an old fishermen little town surrounded by islands is located in Istria and one of the most developed seaside resorts in Croatia. Rovinj is an important historical and cultural Istrian center.
a pretty, fortified town with Italian (Venetian)influence.

It is known as a very romantic place with famous Venetian Renaissance and Baroque notabilities. The town is an Ancient settlement famous from the hundred years ago when the old Greeks and Romans campaigned those areas and left traces.

The most important treasures are: The Old Town, Baroque Municipal, Church of St. Euphemia, The Chapel of St. Trinity, Franciscan Monastery and many more.
The priceless historical monument are the "Seven Old Town Gates" from which only three gates preserved the original shape. Those are; The Gate of St. Benedikt, The Gate under the Wall and The Gate of St. Cross.

may i say first that the framing could be more to the right ? the tower is too centered
but it's nice and Italy is not so far indeed

I like this photo, good composition, the reflections and the colours of the buildings add interest. The note is interesting too.
