Shadows and tall trees

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Today we were on a small trip, looking for the snowy "leftovers" in our county. So we have visited Begovo Razdolje, the highest placed populated village in Croatia (1078m above the sea level).
While my guys were goofing around on sledges and mostly on their bottoms, I've grabbed a camera and started looking for some interesting details. These afternoon shadows looked very interesting to me, hope you like them as well. |

I am glad you grab the camera while the guys were having "guys" fun sliding down the hills. This is very nicely composed and you are right about the shadows being very interesting as they create very nice lines. I am wondering if the right side could not be cut to focus on the trees and the shadows but I am not certain about it...I like how the sunrays are just entering the frame on the left. Nice colours & great sharpness. Well done!
Lovely scenery Branka.
I like the contrast between sky/snow, and the lights here are gorgeous!!!!!
Very well done!!!
take care, stef :))
Nice winter capture, Branka! The long shadows are very nice, and what about that cloudless sky! But, where are the guys? Would have been nice to catch them in action!
Yes, it's lovely Branka, I like the simplicity of the shot, nice shadows and especially the sun showing from the corner. did your boys make those trails down the slope;)
it's so peaceful and calm, I feel relaxed just looking at your photo, so thankyou!
puno pozdravi Roberta, nedostaju mi njegovi komentari :(

Hi Branka,
thi photo recalls the most beautiful moments of the winter. Though I am stuff of it (here's grey, wet and muddy - awaiting thwe spring), this one amkes me smile - the wonderful landscape not affected by any pollution. You have composed it perfectly - diagonally placed slope, great texture on the snow together with long shadows of the trees makes so characteristic view for the low winter sun light. Great one! tfs
