Delight of sailing can feel only that who confide to ship and crew. This is sailing against the wind in Croatia. Wind named bura, come from NE and blow to 140 Km./h. We was sailing without mezen ( second-last) mast becous it wos too much wind.
This boat is 11 tons ( 1 ton is cca 2000 pound )
Now you can imagine how strong was wind. |

Great action shot. Composition is well done with nice diagonal lines. There seems to be a slight cyan color cast.
Pure delight, you've said it!!! It must be heavy to sail in those conditions. Congratulations on making this shot in this wind.
Nice shot but very daring one! I know the wind very well and I know how strong can it blow at the place you took this shot. It's good that you kept the camera in your hands! :)
Photo is good, those diagonal lines emphasises the composition very well, and the yellow guy is very nice contrast to those lines. Still, horizon line is not straight, which isn't good at all. Horizon should be tilted a bit CCW, and that will produce a bit better photo, nevermind the fact the guy will be leaned.
Good job, thanks for showing the strength of that wind here!
Regards,
Robert
Hi Marjan,
Very good shot but i would correct the horizon line and aplly some filter. Thanks for sharing.
