[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Statue of Gregory of Nin by Ivan Meštrović, 1929.

in WS, the four most important steps of the HPP

the original wasn't good at all, just a poor snap
first, i cloned out the tourists
but the trees didn't help
I cloned them out partially, and then totally
still not satisfying...
the stairs were not good looking,
with the clone tool, I made them wider
the blue sky was too boring !
I add an old file of a sunset, with the technique of the layers & masks
i leaved a blue area around the finger, as if there was something magic going on
then, the big white frame, not sure about it...
maybe I could even add an effect more eye catching around the finger, or different light effect, however, i spent too much time for a single photo, a bad photo, now, it's... different... better ? maybe. great ? I can't say, but it was a fun experiment
the effect is unreal
with a strange and impossible lighting... or is it a different planet with two suns ?

Hi Jean,

Has I saw the picture, I was wondering "how could he have captured this picture.. with sunset ..and the light in the front. Had to read the explanation. I feel it's a very good photo. Original.

Hi J C, i find you made an excellet work here! Wonderful shot and realization, Adele

Hi Jean,

Fantastic finished article and yes it looks as if it was taken on some other plane. That sky is amazing and the statue just adds to the surreal feel to it well done.

Jon

Hi Jean,
Great capture of this stautue with amazing colours and tranquillity of the sunset. I think this deserves much more attention on TL. Excellent sharpness and deatils, very nice way of composing. Well done, TFS!

Et donc je chante :

Ce sera nous, dès ce soir
A nous de le vouloir
Faire que Star Wars
Qu'on aura partagé
Nous donne l'envie d'aimer

beau et délirant travail jc
très esthétique
j'aime bien.

Amicalement
Antoine
