I don't think the idea to shoot through a rear glass is new but the way you did it is more than just worth displaying because:
1) The shapes of the mirror and the car create an intricate pattern together
2) the reflection of the sunset in the west is in contrast to the nightfall in the east.

By the way, there're a number of reflections and inter-reflections that don't jump to the eye:
the rear of the car in the mirror and the sunset,
the sunset in the side-rear window,
the rear window...

I found another reflection here on TL:
less romantic but amusing.
