Hello...this shot was taken in TROGIR, Croatia.

A similar shot to "centuries of history-2" but with a little different angle, crop and a better PP.
I posted a workshop to show the version with colours

P.P crop, resize, add a frame, turn B/W, contrast, lights/shadows, sharpness, clean, NeatImage.
Now the same explanation....
Trogir has fascinating 2300 years of continuous urban
tradition. Its rich culture is created under the influence of old Greeks, Romans, Venetians. Trogir has high concentration of palaces, churches, towers, fortress on a small island, inscribed in 1997 in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The orthogonal street plan of this island settlement dates back to the Hellenistic period and it was embellished by successive rulers with many fine public and domestic buildings and fortifications. Its beautiful Romanesque churches are complemented by the outstanding Renaissance and Baroque buildings from the Venetian period.

Trogir is the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic complex not only in the Adriatic but in all of Central Europe. Trogir's medieval core, surrounded by walls, comprises a preserved castle and tower and a series of dwellings and palaces from the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods. Trogir's grandest building is the church of St. Lawrence, whose main west portal is a masterpiece by Radovan, and the most significant work of the Romanesque-Gothic style in Croatia.

Thanks...Francesco

Hi Francesco,
a wonderful view - I like it in black/white.
It's a beautiful place with the mountains behind and the pretty windows.
Thanks for sharing, bye

Ciao Francesco!
I like what have you done, tourning it to the B&W, it has some "old" look, as Trogir is. Good note about it. :D

Hi Francesco, Beautiful picture! I love the composition and the tones of Grey. The cropping is perfect and so is the very delicate and modest frame.

EXCELLENT! 10/10 Marie-José

Great hystorical mood and nice work in B&W Francesco. Noise and sharpeness is well dosed. A wonderful shot full of sensitivity. Bravo!
José

I think I prefer the colour version of this picture, Francesco (I like being different from the others). The B&W is nice but I think the colours present a better version of the place. Colour & B&W, it is a very nicely composed picture with the hills at the back forming a nice V and the two towers at each side of the picture playing a role of framing the shot. Excellent!

Hello Francesco,
Much better choice here to use B and W. Wonderful scene, good POV. Perhaps a wee bit of oversharpening but this may have come from using the wrong setting in Neat. All in all good PP work and interesting notes.
David
