Bom dia my dear Teresa,

well, thanks for including me in the girl's play. :) I am more than happy to participate. :) Miss you guys terribly *I know, I know, I still have to write my e-mail to you, I am so slow and busy lately*

The thing that I like about poetry and photos the most is...they are like small time portals and when you look at them, read them, they take you on a certain place and time and you can experience certain emotions and memories over and over again. This image reminds me of my childhood (I was always that strange kid living in her own 'strange' world...I still am that kid sometimes and I love it, because it makes me complete).

Life is strange circle...we are born then we die, life is what happenes in between, if we are able to recognize it. Childhood can be the best part of our lives, time of innocence, when things are easy and world seems simple. Then we grow up and see the reality...nothing is easy. But the trick to survive in this life is to keep the child in you alive...sooner or later we all return to our childhood, because we have to, because it makes sense.

You are right...life is great adventure and we need the right people to share it with. I am happy to know you - my girls and to share the child in me with you.

yes, all begins when we are very young. then we grow up and grow old, but what we were, we will be.
it's a poetic and lyrical image. it's the moment when we stop to think and look around and check if who we love is still there.

This is a very special image - I love the way the slide comes down from the upper right and leads the eye swooping through the frame and right to the little girl. Her posture and the profile of her face are beautiful. Amazing range of tones with the very dark background and the brightly lit (but not OE) girl. Wonderful!

I Look at this little girl and yes for a sec, a flash, memories and lots of memories started singing a nice song in my mind, how beautiful when a picture can bring you back in time.. adorable... B/W I dont think it can be any better, the right choice indeed, the perfect moment, that sweet glance, the beginning of an adventure, and a lot to say and dream and all that you captured my dear Teresa in one shot, in a great superb sweet presentation... and you just made me smile:)

I'm home only temporarily, becuse I'm spending my holidays on board of my sailing boat... so I checked my account by chance...
Christina Rossetti was one of my favourite poet, If I don't remember wrong one of her poem was:
"In winter I get up at night
and dress by yellow candle light.
In summer, quite the other way
I have to go to bed by day.
....

your photo is so cute!
I love that little girl and her look. The strong contrast white/black makes it so emotional.

one of my must see city in the future.. this is one of my top 5 places to visit in the world..

beautiful intense black and white shot, Teresa.. another lovely work.. the little girl have faraway look in her expression.. :) at 14 i was not into poem yet but quote.. i was so engrossed in sports.. i started to became the top athlete in school.. someone approached my dad asking my hand in marriage when i was 14 hehe.. it was funny time.. of course my dad said no.. but most of all i have a wonderful memories of my childhood but i sure remember my 14 :)

A linha de força emprestada pelo escorrega aponta e dirige o nosso olhar para aquele que é o motivo principal da composição. A luz sublinha de igual modo este elemento principal!
Acho que está fenomenal e respira poesia!
Agora vem a parte difícil porque estou com dificuldade em expressar-me de forma coerente, mas cá vai…
O poema é belíssimo, mas… (não é uma critica… é um desabafo!) estou confuso porque não me consigo descolar do princípio de que a candura de uma criança se projecta sempre no futuro!

What I see is a "vrai bonheur"!
The subject and the composition are timeless and your B&W conversion adds a lot of conotative memories experiments. Each child has had in his childhood a moment of loneliness for printed some interesting meetings or experiements in his thoughts.
