Charles Bridge
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Charles Bridge from the Gothic Old Town Bridge Tower which was designed by Peter Parler and was built at the end of the 14th century.
Charles Bridge is now a very popular tourist attraction and is usually very busy; it connects the Old Town with the Little Quarter and is now pedestrianised, although originally it was able to take four carriages abreast. The statues lining the bridge have mostly been replaced by copies, the originals having been moved to the Lapidarium of the National Museum.
Scanned from an APS print, cropped, brightened and border added. |

wow! - Really nice, i like the dimension of this photo, its orientation and point of view. .. i like everything... just to mention the nice colors and the diffused light. Very well done. Good note too. Bravo Doreen.
Very nice picture. I wonder what the "ramps" in the water were used for. Very crowdy place it seems.
