This is the "Torture Room" to the Armors Gallery who is at the 1st floor of a nice small tower, at the Golden Lane, in the Castle of Prague.

This room has authentic torture instruments and tools! (Of course the skeletons are not real! :P)

A very "hard-to-take" photo cause there bars who prohibited the entrace to the room!

Some infos about Golden Lane:
Golden Lane, dating back to the end of the 15th Century, is yet another interesting part of the Prague Castle complex.

Golden Lane is a small street lined by 11 historic houses, some of which now house interesting armoury and textile exhibits, along with tourist souvenir shops.

A popular section of the Prague Castle complex, Golden Lane attracts it's fair share of visitors, crowding into the small passageway and low buildings.

Golden Lane was created when a new outer wall was added to the existing Romanesque castle complex. It was originally known as Zlatnicka Ulicka (Goldsmith's Lane), due to the many goldsmith's residing there.

In it's early years, Golden Lane consisted of many small dwellings, many of which eventually fell into disrepair. As larger buildings replaced the old ones and then have subsequently themselves been restored, we are left with a charming little passageway, well worth a visit.

Very nice work considering the conditions. I wonder if these actual devices were used at one time, I especially like the swords.

You shot some pretty nice instruments out there, Μπάμπη. I think the swords and the knobstick don't belong in a torture chamber though. Considering the difficult circumstances I think you managed this very well. TFS.

Oh well, a nice shot full of lovely details, some with a very good sharpness:-)))
I like the softness in this "pic"ture, maybe there's a little too much light, but...you have to see what you're doing, isn't it ?

Krasne, no swiatlo plaskie
