Prague, one of the world’s most beautiful capitals, is situated centrally in the Czech Republic. Steeped in history, the city has experienced a revival during the past 20 years. You can be sure to satisfy all of your senses in the Golden City of Prague.
Oozing with culture and romance, the city’s fantastic atmosphere sets the scene for an experience you’ll long remember. Running through many of the country’s historical towns, the Vltava River splits up into small lakes where Czechs and tourists gather in the summer to bask in the sun and enjoy the city’s wonderful ambience.

Take a stroll through the streets past beautiful and impressive buildings representing the entire spectre of architectural styles in a tribute to the city’s venerable past.
Prague is a city of culture, and many of its old houses have been turned into galleries, museums, theatres and operas.
In the old city you’ll experience a very unique atmosphere in the cobbled streets filled with small shops, restaurants and cafés. This part of Prague and the square in the old city draw crowds of both Czechs and tourists:
Here you’ll find the Charles Bridge built in the 13th century. The bridge is decorated with 75 beautiful statues which, together with the street musicians and hundreds of souvenir stands, add to the wonderful and evocative experience.
On the other side of the Charles Bridge you’ll find Malá Strana, also called the “Small Quarter”, and St Nicolas Church along with many other historical monuments.

Indeed, Paris is not the only city in the world to have an Eiffel Tower: Petrin Hill is the site of a 60 m copy of the Eiffel Tower from which you can take in sublime views of the city.
With its cultural focus, Prague is a stunning city break destination. You’re sure to meet friendly people who will be more than proud to welcome you and show you their magnificent city.

Nice job, Μπάμπη. I was surprised to see a watermill in the heart of that city. Nice PoV and compo, the reflections are great. Just the middle part of the water, reflecting the sky, looks a bit dull. I think a polarising filter would have taken care of that. TFS!

Very nice point of view, I like how the water reflects the trees and the houses.

This is a very nice composition. You should try altering the sky to match the blue behind the tree.

This is really a great picture with beautiful colours and a perfect frame. The pigeons are extra points for this picture. It would be perfect with a more interesting sky. Well done Mpampis!

Wow... very good note, it's made me even more excited to see Prague one day!

This photo was done very well considering the harsh sky, so bright! The reflection is quite interesting, and murky... Love it! As for the houses, I'm in awe... the colours and shapes are just perfect! Great, great, GREAT photo! I also like the other photo you took very much, both are beautiful!

Thanks for sharing Mnampis!

Regards,

Biance.
