Tonight this one is expressly for my french friends on treklens..

As Above, So Below.. (Comme en haut... ainsi en bas...)
“That which is below is like that which is above & that which is above is like that which is below to do the miracles of one only thing”..
It’s a esoteric motto.. generally attribuited to Hermes Trismegist... and his emerald table..
It could assume various means.. but sure.. it describe the order of the universe..
from metaphysic to fysic... cause and effect... effect and cause...
microcosme and macrocosme.. soul and body...
and more.. it means that what we see around us.. it’s not all!!

Hermes Trismegist.. Galeno, Ippocrate, Paracelso..
are also considered (sure from me). the fathers of modern medicine..

EMERALD TABLE - HERMES TRISMEGIST

Tis true without lying, certain & most true.
That which is below is like that which is above & that which is above is like that which is below to do the miracles of one only thing.
And as all things have been & arose from one by the meditation of one: so all things have their birth from this one thing by adaptation.
The Sun is its father, the moon its mother,
The wind hath carried it in its belly, the earth its nurse.
The father of all perfection in the whole world is here.
Its force or power is entire if it be converted into earth.
Separate thou the earth from the fire, the subtle from the gross sweetly with great industry.
It ascends from the earth to the heaven & again it desends to the earth and receives the force of things superior & inferior.
By this means you shall have the glory of the whole world & thereby all obscurity shall fly from you.
Its force is above all force, for it vanquishes every subtle thing & penetrates every solid thing.
So was the world created.
From this are & do come admirable adaptations where of the means (or process) is here in this.
Hence I am called Hermes Trismegist, having the three parts of the philosophy of the whole world.
That which I have said of the operation of the Sun is accomplished & ended.

Le Soleil est son père, la Lune est sa mère ;

Sa puissance est entière quand elle est métamorphosée en terre.
Tu sépareras la terre du feu, le subtil de l’épais,

C’est pourquoi je fus appelé Hermès Trismégiste,
possédant les trois parties de la philosophie de l’univers entier.

but with some photo errors (thanks to rychousmama for her suggestions)..
and just right cancelled..
This PP, particularly the colors, rememered me, so much, the paints of van gogh... :)

looks as painted on on the discs.
The colors are very nice. A fantastically done picture, very nice color and miraculous composition.

Hi marco,
you note this is "van gogh version", then past photo is "Rembrandt van Rijn" version, I think.
it is hard to compare two images...this light is rather enhanced and occupy large part in the total image. beautiful and imaginative wall is composed to the back...
for the viewers to prefer bright image this may be good, but for me the past one is more suggestive, this is only my feeling.
this image is very refinded and perhaps you may used lots time to make up this. that is excellent.
