more symmetry the photo could have been taken a

This is a beautiful picture and everything looks perfect.

I also have realized that this location can give you many good pictures like stairs from different angles. A Piano there in good lights etc.

In my dreams staircases like this occur quite a lot.
Funny thing is that I love them... they always give me a feeling of SPACE!

I really do like this image Joop. It's symmetry is great and I love the light and composition...
It's just a very good image!

Hi Joop,

That is a big staircase! It is so big I had to look twice to find back the piano. Wow. You captured it very well; good contrast, wonderful colours. I'm wondering if it was a choice to not entirely take it symmetric.
Was it a very busy place? It's reasonably deserted here. Though you were unlucky with the guy on the right lower balcony with a chunky camera in his hand.

The glass ceiling - I assumed - must have been impressive as well. The light from it is wonderful and the distance it has to cover over these stairs. Wow.

Hierop kan je een echte entree maken. Indrukwekkend; in gedachten zie je al de chique afdelen op weg naar de opera of zo.
't Zal allemaal wel marmer zijn ook. Heel mooie compositie met warme kleuren - waren hier die mineralen? was er nog meer te zien?
