Stadt mit 2.280 Einwohnern im Böhmerwald in 781 m ü. d. M., am linken Ufer des Moldaustausees (vodní nádrž Lipno). Sie befindet sich im Okres Český Krumlov, Jihočeský kraj in Tschechien. Im Ort sind 540 Unternehmen angesiedelt. Die Nähe zum Stausee macht den Ort zu einem beliebten Ausflugsziel. Nördlich der Stadt befindet sich der Truppenübungsplatz Boletice.


Town with 2,280 inhabitants in the Bohemian Forest in 781 m above sea level. d. M., on the left bank of the Vltava dam (vodní nádrž Lipno). It is located in the Okres Cesky Krumlov, Jihočeský kraj in the Czech Republic. In the village are 540 companies. The proximity to the reservoir makes the city a popular tourist destination. North of the city is the military training area Boletice.

A lovely landscape, and that curving road is intriguing!
The frame is well composed, the tower - probably a church - is an eye-catcher...
Fine light renders great colours, and the image has a good feeling of depth!

Hi Janusz,
I have always wanted to visit the Czech Republic and I thank you for posting this. The curvaceous road leads one's view to the town which looks pleasant and interesting to visit. Greetings - Danilo

The curved pathway makes me wonder what is around the curve behind the tree. Composition wise consider eliminating part of the sky to bring the horizon line up a bit. If you had clouds I probably wouldn't comment on the size of the sky.
