[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The narrow backstreets of old Prague are full of fascination to all, tourist, lovers and photographers alike. Precious little has changed since Mozart walked on these cobble stones below those typical Prague street lamps. An afternoon sun with a bit of backlight around the corner helps set the setting for a photo.
I continue my series of people in cities with the obligatory 12% gaussian noise added after rotating, cropping, clarifying, resizing and sharpening.

Very good light in this classic composition. The reflection of the woman's red jacket on the man's sleeve adds a nice touch. Great job!

Excellent lighting and composition. The added grain is very appealing in this context. Very well done! B

There is some kind of passeist athmosphere with the effect from the grain in this nice street picture.
Every element is wel positioned in the picture for a very good "tableau" of these people in the street.
I like it

Welcome home Per. I'm glad you are continuing your Urban Landscapes...and now you introduce us to Czech Republic with this romantic scene with great lighting. The placement of the street lamp is perfect on this composition.

There's a new theme recently that you might be interested in More than words

Nice shot Per reminds me a lot of my St Andrews one. We must have similar tastes. Haven't seen you around for a while hope everything is ok. But welcome back and a nice shot to arrive back with. Nicely composed and lit love the shadows. TFS

Good use of light and shadows. Love the light through the man's ears too. TFS

Nice compo, Per. PP work is perfect as usual, and very suitable for this theme. Just one nit-pick: IMO it's a pity that the shades are decapitated ;o). TFS.

Seducted by the noise too ;-))))
Well Per, I think that adding noise to these kind of photos is not easy, but you really can make it work super well. It changes to mood entirely giving it a little more of a dreamy atmosphere that I find perfect, especially in a shot with such a seductive light!!
Very well done,

Ana

Great muted colours, light and composition. The fact of the grain does not take away from the beauty of this photograph - it adds. Thanks for sharing.

I like it Per, nice touch adding the noise. This would also be great as a black and white.

Thank you for your series of instructive photos on the urban side of Eastern Europe. I like this photo best. The way you composed and captured the scene gives it an old world charm.

Bonjour Per
Great moody picture. I like the backlighting and the street light in much important in the setup.
And most of all, the vertical perspective is perfect. Most people don't take care of this point.
