| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I know I am probably stretching Richard Shutter2think's theme a bit with this contribution, but I couldn't help it. The title of the book cannot be seen (and says precious little about me) and it is technically not a real self portrait. But I got back from holidays yesterday, Diana Cloverstar pointed the theme out to me, and I happened to have this photo sitting in the camera. So one thing led to another. It is ME reading, and the book is Ruth Rendell's latest "Thirteen Steps Down" and she does happen to be my favorite pastime author. And as you can see, we were camping out in some very cold weather in the Czech Republich.
Tech talk: After rotateing and cropping and generally fixing colours and contrast and resizing, I applied a Colored Edge filter and then saturated the colours a bit more. Finally I added the page curl at the bottom to indicate how eager I am to turn a page, a frame called Edge Brush, and a border - all in PSP9. |

Good pp work Per and love the novel composition. Nice slippers too. Hope you had a nice holiday, start mine on Monday :-) TFS
Peter
Hi Per,
Hey, where's your eyes? >just came from your critique< LOL! Atleast you didn't have to worry about an odd placement!
;P I guess it's okay, that the title isn't showing as long as someone places it in the notes. Nice slippers, you look so cozy. But, what is the book about? And how does it reveal a bit of you?
Take care!
Richard
Nice to see you in the new theme Per. Even after a long holiday you found the energy to join in feet first :)
I like the point of view and was just thinking of the feet theme, then I scrolled up and you beat me to it. That page curl is neat! How'd you do that?
Hi Per,
this is a good work there and a nice story about "Pantoufles" which looks very confortable.
