| Malá Strana is one of Prague's historical and oldest boroughs, on the left bank of the river Vltava, on the slopes just below the Prague Castle. Malá Strana was created in 1257 during the reign of Přemysl Otakar II. In 16. century Malá Strana was built-up by extensive residences and palaces of nobility and rich gentry. Nowadays here is located inter alia The Parliament and The Senate of the Czech Republic. |
