Figures in urban landscapes 12

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
For the time being I intend to let this be my last post in this series - but I may of course change my mind. It shows another sad aspect of life in the city: The homeless. These two met and squatted on a supermarket carpark and it was clear that they had nowhere else to go. I also suspect that they often can be found outside supermarkets because that is where they sell cheap beer. Because obviously their misfortune doesn't start and end with not having a roof over their heads, many are alcoholics as well. These men were not begging though, and looked far too proud to even think of it.
Technically the most significant enhancement was the addition of extra gaussian noise to fit the other images in this series. But as I have said once already - the noise doesn't always fit, even when the subject is "grey". |

Glad you post this landscape, cause not evertyhing in our urban reality is beautiful and a pleasure to the eyes. The image itself is good enough to a guy who shoots everything whit no rules, acording to the guy´s own words... ;) This one i would love to see it BW and without the noise. It would match the «grey» landscape mood greatly. Which doesn´t mean i don´t find this a great picture.
Gee! They look so familiar like 2 other who where near my job all the summer of 2004 in Montreal... But i would be very surprise that they travel to the other side of the ocean... A scene like a see many times! Like here.. I mean in the city :o)
