A very good effort, done with some great equipment. It is always helpful to explain your motive for this pic in the photographers note, then it is always easier to provide meaningful feedback.
You could use the straithen tool to fix up the verticals. Do not be afraid to crank up the ISO because the noise can easily be fixed by neat image...

Very well done Gareth indeed. It wouldn't have been nice with the flash.

Very good composition and dof. Your workman is very concentrated on his work. We see just enough of his traits.

could I ask you how you technically composed this photo. I mean how did you manage to keep the light of the fire. its a very nice effect i 'feel' warm when i look at this photo
