Sunset with low light calls for longer shutter speeds giving you this "silky" water.
I spotted this young boy as he stood watching the sea, his feet close to the water.
It really reminded me of my own childhood - standing so close to the ocean but safe and warm in your own clothing.

Very beautiful image, the human element with the presence of the
boy adds to the presentation. Love the perspective with the diagonal
of the dock. Well done.

great comp and colours

Hi Jan,
you have here definitly a killer!!!! Great shot!! I love the composition and the colours (including black shadow).
But the boy is a little to in the middle. What about croping a little on the left to make it a bit more 6x7 alike?
Lets do a workshop...
