Tiles in any form often make out patterns of photographic interest - especially when the light falls off.
These black tiles cover my own house and from some angles they form this endless sea of "black"...

This is the kind of shot where you really need something that is different somewhere in the image, to make it non-homogenous. It would be really nice to see one tile being tilted at 90 degrees or so. Anyway, I like the tone here and the light.

I love these tiles. The light and shade together with light make a great composition of patterns.

Well shot Jan;I have looked at your other shots of tiled roofs,very interesting.
I understand what Johan is saying but nevertheless you did a good job.
The shot is very clear,I like the light across these shiny tiles.
What are they made from?
