Triangle Of Black Tiles
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Not much life in this motif but the shiny, black, hard burned roof tiles create some interesting lines in the sunshine.
Here is an older one. |

Well I think there's a lot of life :) the curves and patterns and reflections on these metal tiles are just so dynamic and full of rhythms. I've never seen anything like these kind of roof tiles before, I want them! Hehe. And there's a great unity in the shot because the tiles are reflecting the blues of the sky, so it goes with the blue sky but still pops out against it so well. Excellent exposure and metering, great contrasts and I love the strong composition with the edge of the roof running diagonally across the frame. Wonderful clarity and detail, and I love the play on perspective and depth with the rows and rows of metal tiles leading the eye to the background. Did you zoom in a lot for this? The point of view is great because it's practically at-level with the roof tiles. Really amazing shot Jan, TFS!

hi jan, cool shot, i like the repition of curves and lines, good saturated colors, i would like to see a little less blue so the roof line would be higher, but it is a very creative image,
well done
