What a choice to make! You made me laugh and then I really looked at this well composed photo. It obeys the "rule of thirds", has a good diagonal line with the look of the man towards the dog, and the leash connects everything. Well done.

Ha,ha,ha, Instead of dog I liked the eager expression on the face of the man more.
Seems that old man himself is a good photographer.
Really a very interesting image with great humor in it.
