[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As some of you may have noticed, I have this weakness for playing around with the paintbrush tools of Paint Shop Pro. This shot of a very magic moment was slightly shaken (shutter speed just 1/30) and with vivid colours, so I took it through the full toolbox of PSP. It is a picture of the newlyweds I showed here and I also post this as a continued celebration of Danish/Canadian good relations.

I took the original (that I post as workshop to show the difference) after resizing and added a one-step fix. After that I worked on brush strokes to achieve something that resembled a Degas painting, and finally I added a light effect which subdued most of the light and put just a soft spot above their heads. The last to make it more intimate. Hope you like it just a little.

Hi Per
Yes I like it. The worse thing concerning your photo is that it looks not interesting as thumbnail ;-) I was really surprised seeing the original. Almost everything seems to be OK, I'm reflecting about their faces - maybe would be better to proccess them little less. But seeing your original I understand it's difficult. I like such experiments.

Piotr.

Hi Per, nice pp.the compo and colours are also good.
well done!

Oh yes, it seems a cool painting to me Per! One thing great about the paints is that the artist who´s watching reality can always change it acording to his view...hmmmm...or maybe not changing it...only his mind and his skills made him represent it in some other way acording to his motivations. So...guess you are an artist..and making this of such a magic moment makes you an emotional artist i guess...tell Nina and Frederic that their wedding has been blessed, will you?

Hello Per - i will have to come back to this one - it is a case for me - i want to look at Degas painting first :) (pts later as i will come back)

::: Okay ... here my Degas (un vrai dégas!):) Rapidly done using your original. I have used a true Degas paint as a model.

Very nice Per. I too often do something kind of drastic when I have a good shot but there is that problem with focus or shake that mars it.

After seeing the other picture, I notice in this one how beautifully the brides hair has been done.
