| Wanted to catch the plane in the middle of the moon, but i was too slow and the plane was a little too "high". However i like the photo. It has been cropped and a little contrast added. |

This is an awesome composition, well framed and good clarity of colours and detail. The vapour trail across the moon is impressive as it the detail of the moon's craters.

The sky seems to be fake, but the moon is so close! Good compo and idea, I truly like the photo.

I would call this photo "Uff, that was close" ;-)
LOL.
I see you used an L type of lens, got one like that too, but w/o the IS. Didn't have the chance to try my one out in this way, but from here I can see what it is capable of.
Did you use IS here?
I would need to use a tripod or a monopod in my case.
Recently thought of a heavier and better tripod, but since I don't use it much anyways it would be a waste of money.
Having a fine weather like here a tripod doesn't have to be used - if you have a steady hand.
