| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
It's a small lake outside the town I grew up in, used to do a lot of fishing around there when I was a kid.
Went for a walk out there with my camera and my new wide lenses, just to play around and get something else but a boring city view. In terms of modifications I haven't done much than making it smaller to fit into the demands here, maybe it's not artistic but just just a distant memory from childhood... |

Hi Martin,
welcome to TL,
lemme give you my 2 cents on this.
Technically, the foreground is kinda dark, but i guess it works with the lit trees in the background, might have been better if the foreground was a little brighter.
The trees in the background are a little out of focus. I imagine this is due to your f/stop setting when taking the picture. f2.8 will give you a shallow depth of field, in this situation i would me more inclined to go for f7.1 or maybe f8 or so as this will keep the background crisp as well.
The sky is good in this nice colours.
I found a couple of links with tips for landscape photography that might interest you.
