[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An aerial photo of Greenland, the world's biggest island. I took this photo from an aircraft during a flight to the US.
I was lucky with the clear weather, but I had to do some PP work to correct the distorting effect of the window: auto levels, contrast + simple frame.

Hi Kristof,
Excellent capture of this cold but scenic place. I like the curved lines in what looks like a river. Nice PP work in correcting the distortion from the window. The shot looks sharp.
Regards,
Kevin

i like the curved 'road' through this fantastic landscape, and this kind of view from the sky
regards
jc

Kristof Hi:

Splendid composition and difficult from the plane. You have handled the PP work very very nicely. The result - a pleasing compositon of Beautiful Greenland.

Congratulations, very nice, my friend

Hi Kristof
A glacier from the air is indeed a fantastic geographical feature.
Great PP work to correct the view from shooting through curved window...Perhaps there is just a bit to much noise left in the image...a pass through a noise reduction filter would easily correct this.
All the Best and TFS
Paul

hey Kristof

thanks to show us this wonderful place
ciao
Lucio

Hi Kristof,
Yep, like this imressive view. Well captured with a fine contrast although the image looks a tad noisy (easy to reduce with Neat Image). Anyway a fine image of Greenland.
Hans

compliments!

Kristof,

You should have opened the window! LOL Nice post processing work. I like the contrast of the dark and the light in the photo. It's spectacular on TL. I can only imagine the view from the plane! Lisa

Hi Kristof,
Very nice job out of an aircraft window. Given the limited room to position this is a great composition; the curvy road running through the middle of the scene is perfect contrast to the surrounding hills and mountains.
Good post work too.

Wilt

Hi Kristof,
If i had the money i would make it to Greenland ,it has to be along with Antarctica the last jewels of the unknown adventure land , the last frontier i dream of going to ! Expensive place ! You have got one from the window plane ( this one cost nothing more than your flight ticket to somewhere else ---lol ), you have brought it back to a good standard here , i usually do not bother to take any picture from a plane because of the distorting effect of plane window but now i will give it a try if i may achieve something interesting like yours in PP, Impressive view ,
Tfs,
Warm regards,
Carol

Very nice Krystof. I love aerial shots. This one is well done. Good contrast. The patterns of the mountains make it almost an abstract.

TFS,
David

Great landscape photo Kristof, good detail especially through a plane window :)

Hi Kristof,

Magnificent alpine vista! Quite a spectacle seeing all this snow and rugged terrain. Amazing to imagine all this snow and ice slowly moving along to form the glacier. Awesome nature!

Tfs and best wishes,
Martyn
