Have a cigar II
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is my second "cigar shot".
Again from my local pub/jazz club. This elderly gentleman, which he is, sad by the bar reflecting life. Normally he's a jolly fellow, but I managed to capture him when he's was in philosophical mood. Just seconds after he rose and started cracking jokes about everyone in the bar.
So maybe he was preparing himself for the task?
You can see my first “cigar shot”, Have a cigar, here.

I don´t like tobacco but, this photo is very good. I like the composition. The face expression of the old man is amazing and very sad. Well captured Jorn. It's a nice shot.
This is a wonderful portrait of this fine gentleman. His skin tones are perfect. I like the dark background as it gives a good moody feel to the image. The only thing that concerns me is the glare from the cigar's foil sleeve. I think it is a bit to bright for this quiet setting. Perhaps it could be burnt in a little. Only a suggestion.
One of my favourites. Thanks Jorn.

Excellent shot, this one is better than your other shot, I like this easy sphere, Jorn !
The text is like on a window of a cafe,
Well done

Very fine work Jorn - Like the style over this fine old man and the image - excellent work.
A bit moody shot too - he looks a bit sad.
Looks like a cuban double corona from H.Upmann. Great cigar ! Like the way he stands very much too. Really nice portrait !
