[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Looking for pictures has its risk.

Especially when you are a traveller and you have always liked to shoot pictures, the material you are playing with is composed by fragments of your own life.

The problem is not when you see faces, places, or things.

Things are things. Things can not hurt you.

The problem is when things, people and faces are diplaced as runes composing a message.

I shot this picture by istinct and than I forgot it.
Looking at it now, late at night, I realized that it's content is sand, sky, and her.
She is some step in front of me, going nowhere, not wanting to turn back or to wait for second. I followed for a while and then, due to pride, I turned away.

However... nice bottom.

I decided not to touch the picture, and I left it as it is like: a random incident of bouncing feelings.

Very poetic and sad. It's hard to watch someone walk out of your life, and almost just as hard to be reminded of it. I'm glad you left it how it was, any cropping would damaged the feeling, and the colors are perfect.

Hi Guido,
this photo of yours really touched me very deep...the note, that is. It's so honest and sincere, you did well not to change the picture...it has a strong message as it is.
regards,
M.

I like your note, very poetic... especially the "nice bottom" part lol

Joking, i like this photo, has attitude but some sadness also.... it looks like a farwell!

Mario

Touching words for a dramatic shot!
It reminds me to my welcome shot on TE: She is coming back.

Lovely scene Guido,I like this back kind of picture with open great space that makes an imaginative mood,I'm in love for B&W so I think it maybe wonderful in a such way.
Very good image
Edie

i do this sometimes as well...i think we all do :) i once followed a couple for about 1/2 hr with my camera not knowing why...:)

thanks for sharing this photo, and your note puts thoughts into more perspective...

Guido, I browsed through your photos and this one tells the nicest story.
I would have cropped it very differently because the girl and her shadow tells the story of the woman walking the path alone.
I think this is a great but sad emotion.
Good work

I agree with you. Taking shots of strangers can be a bit tricky especially if they see you. I have many a shot of the back of people. Your's is so nice though because of that lovely scenery, and also because you were lower than the lady on the hill of sand. I love this point of view. Pity she is in the middle of the composition, but I guess the nice bottom distracted you.
Great shot and well done.

great drama, guido. shooting them at the back... maybe i would have cropped a portion of the sky, saturate color a bit, then lower hightlights a bit to get more details... but like you said you wanted it this way, and honestly i'm already happy with it... nice bottom really.
