At my sister and brother-in-law's house in Denmark they have this fountain in the back garden. It is an enormous stone (1 meter wide and at least 40 centimeters high) through which my brother-in-law has drilled a hole. Below the stone there is a water reservoir and a pump which pumps water through the stone where it quietly pours out like a tiny spring to run down the stone into the reservoir and circulate like that for ever. It makes the most wonderful sound, like that of a small brook or creek running over a lot of stones, and in the sunlight and wind it even creates a small spray that I have tried to capture here. I include a larger version in the workshop to show that no water is visible around the stone - everything is neatly hidden away. I wasn't quite sure which of the two to post and which to put in the workshop. Please let me know what you would have done.

Hi Per !
Il like the veil of light in the spray coming from above onto the fountain and the water, a magic effect, almost divine ...
I remember another shot of yours, with such a use of light in a church.
Sylvie
Hi Per
I like the spray and the reflection. To add another opinion, you can do the same shot when there is less light but with a long exposure... The use a light source to paint it... The water will change totally. (opinion)

I would love to own this. I had a garden filled with plants, birds, fish, and no fountain, no running water. No one would ever make me a fountain, a real pond, waterfall or stream. Best I could do was to bury my daughters old wading pool, for my water plants andfish. Later I had wooden tubs and antique crocks with watre plants and fish, and free tree frogs from tad poles my kids caught! Such a nice fountian, so natural!
