[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was a lovely summer's day. We went to see my brother and his wife for the first time in their new house. We brought some flowers in a tin bucket for the new home. They went onto the windowsill of the living room and we all went outside to barbecue. I thought the flowers looked so lonely and forlorn inside, with so much summer outside. So I took a picture.
I have looked at it since, and it kind of fascinates me. I don't know why. Maybe I am just being silly.

Technically the usual stuff: Rotating, cropping, cloning a bit in a corner, resizing ,clarifying, saturation and sharpening tools - in that order.

Très jolie scène. Cadrage intéressant. Belle luminosité.J'aime bien ce qu'on voit au travers de la fenêtre avec ce flou. Bien fait!

nice stillive Per,quit a relaxing picture ...I like it !!

There is a twig peeking in from the outside too... maybe it had the same feelings as you had!
We all have out photo's which are personal and dear to us... that does not neccesarily make you silly ;)

Very good composition Per! The light coming in from the window gives a warm mood to the dim room where the flower is placed. Thanks for sharing your fascinating photo! Regards!

Hi Per, nice composition, good colours.lightning is good to.
well done.

I don't think you are being silly at all. Sometimes our eyes see beauty in everyday objects. This is a lovely image. I really like the way the same flower is outside, and yet there is one on the shelf inside. That is very creative. Good composition.

Per!
Very beautiful, poetic picture. Good composition
and light. I have a question? What is on the left side of the picture; a Vikings boat?

Oh yes...i love when i think i´m being silly too.A good thing of being silly is when you value the litle things that much and fascinate with them. That´s when the silly guys just make it worth. Thanks for the silly moment my friend.

Very artistic composition. The wooden window frames enhance the prominence of the vase and the flowers. excellent work!
