And now something completely different! I called it "nature vs. technology". In fact I don't like 'horizon spoiling' modern windmills at all but it's the composition what I like in this picture. I'm looking forward to your comments!

It took this picture on my trip to Denmark while I was on my way to an Airshow on Skrydstrup Air Force Base in 2000.

PS:
- Scanned
- Cropped
- Increased saturation (+5)
- Increased contrast (+7)
- Framed

Hi Hans,
Nice composition and colours for these windmills.
Well done.
Mary

i agree that this is wonderful composition...it leads you from the top left of the frame down to the bottom right quite nicely...my only suggestion would be greater sharpness...but i have a feeling it was lost mostly during the scanning...maybe try unsharp mask in photoshop if you have that program on you next scan to fix this...otherwise a beautiful capture of a horizonal eyesore...peace***

Hi Hans,
Excellent composition and presentation. I like this foreground slightly blurred. More one looks at far in the image, this one becomes increasingly clear. The effect is interesting. I like also the beautiful contrast of the colors. Very well done! Annie

Perfect composition, great colors!

Armel.

Hello Hans
Diffrent look on today's windmill. I know in Denmark there are Mills more or less in the 'Dutch' style ..
Your angle here is very good.. the green in front adds depth ..Well done

hi hans.

what a eautiful contrast, and what a great shot this is.
I love the tones that it contains.

Congratulations.
Luci

Nice shot, Hans !
Finally, the plants seem higher than the "modern windmills" and so nature will always be stronger !
Good illustration in this nice work of yours.
Sylvie

Bien vu
Audrey

WOW .......... !
