[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Ever since I saw this photo from Hojper on TE I been wanting to show where these wild geese was heading – And I actually got some shots showing flocks of geese feeding on Danish cornfields – This intact a problem on "the most popular fields" and the owners places scarecrows the reduce the problem. Yesterday (Saturday) was I planning to do some shopping and I didn’t bothered to bring the big camera – only my little handy one – and I’m glad I did.

I had a great luck – A little geese family with 10 goslings was just about to cross a road in order reach a little pond on the other side. 8 of the goslings had already taken the way down the slope – together with the parents. But when I stopped the car a retreat begun – but this was not easy for the 8 goslings. Don’t worry I only took a few shots a left them alone.

But I surely missed the Zoom – I could have taken the close-ups I been “hunting” lately.

May be I should add - I can't remember seeing wild goslings in Denmark before.

I love this note, and the pic is just so very precious! Looks like one of the geese is shouting "Hey - get up here quick, there is a big thing out there with a weapon coming to get you!!!" Really great Jeppe. By the way, I only have a Sony Cybershot!! I've so outgrown it by now, and cannot wait till I get a bigger camera to take those "closeups". It is very restrictive and you can see it in the quality of the shot. But I love this moment. Very well done and thanks for sharing:-))

What a precious moment, Jeppe. Great capture of the adults and the goslings in this roadside setting. I hope all of them made it to the pond safely.

-charming capture Jeppe of these Canada geeses out in the field with the small one.

Up here the Canada gesses in Oslo is a problem, as they spread to fast (after beeing imported some years ago).

Cute geese, Jeppe! These animals never get boring to me. I like your placement of the birds in the frame. I can certainly identify with you in wanting a telephoto lens! I did a workshop for you, too.

Thanks for the link - and the thought. Maybe you could have played around a bit and cut and pasted to bring them closer together as a family (joke). But it is a pity you didn't have a nice zoom with you. Then you would have something close to the famous shot from the poster from the twenties of the feathered family crossing the road - i gaasegang.(og du ku ha klistret dig selv ind som politimanden i dit digitale moerkekammer)
