Much better on the photo, honest. I've already said that I like it, but I say it again. The small details, the red, the shadow, the bike, the water, the girl sitting on the edge, etc. It's just a really cozy mood :))

Hi Sylvie - the shadow of the bike is wonderfully clear abnd stands out well against the cobbles. I like the angle here as well, makes the whole scene more interesting. Well seen.

Une pièce de choix que celle-ci! Admirablement bien composée et tout en équilibre avec ses lignes droites et courbes joyeusement mélangées. J'aime la touche rouge et surtout les arabesques bleutées du vélo et de ses ombres en surimpression sur le pavé argenté. Savoir que quelqu'un a profité du scintillement de cette journée parfaite ajoute à la beauté

A really great composition. The ambience of the shot is stunning. The shadow and the highlights in the water somehow complement each other. The geometric pattern of the cobblestones contrast very well with the asymmetric human figure.
The touch of red completes the effect.

I would honestly prefer a b/w version of this, because the focus will be on the shadows over coblestones and the sunsparks. As you can see in my w/s (which I cannot post, hehehe).

this looks really good.
There is so much going well for this shot.
Texture, sharpnes, exposure.. etc !
I then like the sparkle on the water the diagonal inclination of the edge of the pavement.
