Strange feeling to be on the other side of the camera ... :))
I like this photo a lot, as you already know, and it is on my TL intro.
Thanks for posting as your first portrait at TL a photo of me, I am very honoured.
This photo reminds me great moments at Louisiana that day. I like the colours, red and blue and your framing.

Sylvie! I recognized her face right away just by looking at the thumbnail! Really wonderful shot with that casual but friendly pose and that candid smile. Really good high contrasts the give the photo a punch and nice cool tones. Strong composition with her off-center, and curving her body, tilting her head, to the right. The focus and clarity are great, but I also like the somewhat "soft" quality of the detail and outlines. Only thing I might nitpick is the overexposure in the background and on her leg at the bottom left. Otherwise an excellent shot filled with a casual happiness. TFS!
