[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi,

I know it probably goes against the basics rules of photography, to take a photo against the sun. But I thought at the time that i will give it a try anyway. The inevitable lens flare and halo is of course clearly visible, but is that good or bad? I like to hear your views on this.
I think that sometimes it goes well with the composition and most of the times it doesn't. But for this one I actually think it does... Like to hear your views.

Amager Strandpark is a beach and park near Copenhagen city. A nice recreational area where concerts are held during the summer in the parks and where you can take a cool dive into the strait of Øresund (Oresund).

Hello Christian,
superb shot, I like the halo, beautifull lighting,
cheer,
Pat

Hi Christian,

There are no rules in photography. The halo is perfect, as is the rest of the composition. The clouds are awesome, too. The only objection (still, only an opinion) is the relative emptiness of the foreground. Not that it's a bad thing necessarily, but perhaps it would add a bit more perspective if there was e.g. a bush, a bench, etc.

Regards,
Chris

Hej Christian
Mange hilsener
Jens.

hi christian, nice to meet you! you say in your intro yours photo skills are none, think again my friend, you have more talent than many! colors, time of day and composition are excellent, the halo well not so good but next time choose a smaller aperture it will starburst the light without a halo, take care, thanks scott... back for smiley!
